Back to Ours Picturehouse – WEST

30/05/2018 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Hull Independent Cinema and Back to Ours present Picturehouse – WEST

Featuring Song of the Sea and Kubo and the Two Strings

Hull Independent Cinema is proud to deliver the Picturehouse programme as part of the May 2018 Back to Ours Festival. Back to Ours is all about bringing a diverse range of art and culture events to community venues around Hull and really getting people involved, and Picturehouse is no exception. From Tuesday 29 May to Thursday 31 May our Picturehouse programme will visit three venues in different parts of the city. At each venue we’ll screen two films, each accompanied by a fantastic range of arts and crafts activities suitable for all the family.

Our venues this time around are Winifred Holtby Academy (29 May), The Octagon Centre (30 May) and The Freedom Centre (31 May). At each venue we’ll be showing two spellbinding animated films, Song of the Sea (event starts 11am) and Kubo and the Two Strings (event starts at 2pm). More details about each film are below. Please note that each film is a separate ticketed event, so if you want to go to both films at your local venue you’ll need to buy tickets for both. But at only £2.50 per ticket we’re sure you’ll agree that it’s a fantastic bargain.
