THE best audience participation cinema experience you will ever have!
Free spoons and viewers guide for all attending. A Wiseau Films approved screening.
The film has built up a notorious cult reputation and has audience participation screenings in cinemas around the world still to this day. It truly defines so-bad-it’s good filmmaking, with laugh out loud bad dialogue, acting, direction, and story. There are lengthy, un-erotic sex scenes; all of which clearly make the film that more enjoyable.
Come and see why “the ‘Citizen Kane’ of bad movies“ has audiences throwing plastic spoons at the screen, shouting out to the characters, tossing an American football around and turning up dressed in tuxedos. Be prepared, this film might just change your life. Welcome to the cult of THE ROOM…
Cult Cinema Sunday: Putting the Cult in the City of Culture. The original, challenging and just plain cool from the world of cult & genre film – life’s too short for bad movies. The night has the perfect mix of Thieving Harry’s food, craft beers, free film quiz, prize raffle, and custom made alternative movie posters. Check out our range of alt movie posters for sale.
“To make a movie that’s so bad it’s good you need vision, drive, luck and obsessive vanity. Fortuitously, The Room’s writer/producer/director/star Tommy Wiseau appears to possess all of these qualities, combined with a total lack of acting talent..” –Steve Rose, The Guardian
“One of the only films from the whole of the 21st Century to live up to every fragment of its hype.” – Tim Brayton, Antagony & Ecstasy
